Following our successful international growth strategy, we have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced

Area Sales Manager Residential & Housing

based in South East (home office).

The Area Sales Manager Residential & Housing is part of our UK sales team and focused on Social Housing and New Build Housing providers in the South East region. The goal is to further develop the existing customer base, to acquire new business in this specific sales segment and to ensure a top-level service quality during the implementation process of sold projects.

Your role
- Manage, develop and leverage relationships with existing customers and distributors in the Residential & Housing segment
- Identify and acquire new customers to further develop the South East region
- Generate specifications with Social Housing and New Build Housing providers (local authority housing, housing associations, local house builders, distributors, building merchants, investors)
- Ensure the timely delivery of projects by carefully managing the supply chain through local stocks in distribution
- Achieve the budgeted sales for residential products with the distributor network on your territory, by increasing the proportion of Gerflor ranges stocked Negotiate trade agreements and contracts with key customers
- Conduct market analysis on competition, distribution and product trends
- Use the Gerflor CRM and contribute to data quality
- Attend relevant trade fairs and events

Profil recherché

- Proven track record of selling building / interior products to Residential & Housing customers – experience in selling to Social Housing providers is mandatory for this role
- Ability to work autonomously and in team environment – collaborative approach
- Experience in specification processes and in the management of long time projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and very good organisational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to customers and decision-makers on all management-levels
- Good business acumen and analytical sales approach
- Very good professional communication skills on all levels
- Knowledge of CRM-Systems and MS-Office package
- Willingness to travel
