Following our successful international growth strategy, we have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced

Key Account Manager – Retail & Supermarket

for Belgium and Luxembourg (home office, 80% travelling in the region).

As part of the BELUX sales team, the Key Account Manager – Retail & Supermarket develops and manages the supermarket and non-food retail market in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Your role:
- Manage, achieve and exceed sales of specialised Gerflor flooring solutions to the retail sector in Belgium and Luxembourg
- Conduct market research, identify customers incl. decision-making structures and define target-oriented sales strategies
- Define and implement road-maps, action-plans and yearly budget for the retail segment
- Secure project specifications with retailers and follow-up from beginning (specification) to end (supply)
- Consult and network with relevant retailers, architects, specifiers, interior designers and installation companies
- Negotiate price lists, execute segment strategies and implement action plans in close cooperation with Country Management and Product Management
- Capitalise on the international retail team's experience and duplicate the best practices
- Report sales activities and market insights in the CRM

Profil recherché

Your profile:
- Relevant business school or university degree
- Proven sales background within the retail sector (technical non-reselling products)
- Experience in specification and follow-up of complex decision-making process
- High consciousness of the Supermarket & Retail groups purchasing behaviours
- The ability to inspire, influence and manage key stakeholders at a senior level
- Efficiency and availability for demanding customers
- Ready to travel around the country
- Able to close one to one negotiations in short terms
- Dynamism, autonomy and sense of responsibility
- Be able to communicate on a professional level in French, Dutch and English is mandatory
